1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using f1predictions.app ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service & No Gambling Policy

f1predictions.app is a web application that allows users to predict Formula 1 qualifying and race results, compete on leaderboards, and participate in private leagues with friends. The Service is provided strictly for entertainment purposes.

  • No Real Money Gambling: This Service does not offer real-money gambling. Users cannot purchase virtual coins or virtual entry fees with real-world currency.
  • Virtual Prizes Only: Prizes are awarded solely in virtual currency ("virtual coins"). These coins have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for fiat currency (e.g., USD, EUR, THB), and cannot be redeemed for physical prizes, merchandise, or gift cards under any circumstances.

3. Account Registration & Age Requirement

  • Age Limit: You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service.
  • Accurate Information: You agree to provide a valid email address and accurate, complete information when creating your account.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.

4. Virtual Currency & Leagues

  • Ecosystem: The virtual coins used on f1predictions.app exist solely within the closed ecosystem of the game. We reserve the right to modify, manage, control, reset, or eliminate virtual currency balances at our sole discretion.
  • League Entry Fees: Users can set entry fees for custom leagues using the Service's virtual currency.
  • League Management: League creators are responsible for managing their league settings and members. We reserve the right to remove leagues that violate these Terms.
  • Invites: League invite links should be shared responsibly; you are responsible for who you invite.

5. Predictions and Scoring

  • Deadlines: Predictions must be submitted before the published deadline for each session.
  • Calculation: Scoring is calculated automatically based on our published scoring system. We reserve the right to modify the scoring system with reasonable notice.
  • Disruptions: In the event of race cancellations, postponements, or other real-world disruptions, we will determine scoring adjustments at our sole discretion.

6. User Conduct

While avatars are pre-selected by the Service, users may create custom usernames or league names ("User Content"). You retain ownership of the content you submit, but you agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Create content (usernames, league names) that is offensive, discriminatory, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, or interfere with its infrastructure.
  • Create multiple accounts to manipulate scores, leaderboards, or virtual coin balances.
  • Impersonate another person or entity.
  • Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the Service.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users.

7. Intellectual Property

  • App Ownership: The Service, including its design, features, and code, is owned by f1predictions.app.
  • F1 Disclaimer: f1predictions.app is an unofficial fan-based prediction game. "Formula 1," "F1," and related marks are trademarks of Formula One Licensing B.V. The Service is in no way affiliated with, associated with, endorsed by, or connected to Formula 1, the FIA, Formula One World Championship Limited, or any F1 team. All driver and team names are the property of their respective owners.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
  • Real-world race data or results pulled into the app will be 100% accurate.
  • Scores and virtual coin balances will be calculated without errors.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, f1predictions.app and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, particularly in cases of hacking, exploiting, or violating these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Thailand.
